I am an Amsterdam based portrait photographer who loves to travel as well. I love photographing big bellies and tiny little babies. Beautiful portraits of you while pregnant and then with the baby with your new or extended family! They are little for such a short time and it is so nice to have that special moment captured.
how do we work? maternity & newborn
I usually shoot with natural light and so I prefer to plan sessions in the morning and in the afternoon. Also think about when you and your baby are at their best. E.g. are they sometimes a bit tired and grumpy in the afternoon? I would advise the plan the session in the morning.
Newborns have there own pace, and sometimes need a break. If that is needed we'll take it. If you have any suggestions or ideas for photo’s don’t hesitate to ask & discuss this with me!
I often get questions about clothing, I suggest you wear anything you feel absolutely fabulous in, wear something you feel comfortable in, and wear things you feel you in. For a maternity shoot please don't wear things that are tight and leave marks on your belly.
For the location your own home is always a good place to start, but I love shooting outside as well e.g. at the beach, or in a park. My motto is for you have a fun experience and beside that get great pictures of your belly & your sweet little baby!
